Our keynote speaker is David Sloss.
Who Am I?
I was born in Stratford, Ontario, and spent my childhood in Nigeria with my missionary parents after which I trained in Math and Computer Science, graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1969. Yes, there really were computers then!
Marian and I were married, she pursuing nursing while I taught High School. Four children and now 14 grandchildren later, and retirement from secular education, I have continued my teaching in mission contexts in many different countries, teaching pastors and church leaders usually in poor economical circumstances.
Most recently I have been to Uganda the last five years working with the Messianic Congregations of Uganda where leaders are being taught the Torah and pastoral responsibilities from a biblical perspective.
Most recently, in 2016, I was affirmed as an Elder of B’ney Yosef North America and function within that framework to help enable those whom God is leading back to a fuller understanding of Scripture and sensing that they may have a connection with Israel.
Our guest speaker is Don Meecha.
In 2018 we had a guest speaker. Don Meecha and his wife Jean relocated to the north a few years ago and are currently building a fellowship in the North Bay area. Don spoke to us about their backgrounds (very interesting testimonies) and vision for the future.
